Through their research they are trying to find more about resistance, contradictions, and conflicts in writing. Also to reveal the ways that motivation and individual identity that can shape the writing that they do. Through the research she uses genres to answer her question by genres allows you to shape your identity and that everyone writes different. They also uses different ways of writting. Also that actitivity theory is used to connect writers to another level and we can see how people write by their self representation. I see my peers using many different tools like google, internet, and nova library as a self representation. That is their way of using that resource to do their paper and to write.

The writer is trying to find out more on Steve Lamacq, from we see that he has accused a rock gig that they are traducing the spirit of music and shamlesly minning the history of thier music and attitude and for communiting the altimate crime, inauthenticity. He uses quotes like "4 real", or "I would die 4 you". These show the history of rock and the spirit of rock. They use a number instead of "for". Meaning the same thing but just a little different. Everyong has their own authenticity by the words they say and use everyday. I see people every day using slang terms. Instead of how are you, it would be whats up? or wazzz up? we all use authenticity in our everydays lives and its different among all of us.

Journal Entry 7

Research questions that guide thier work is how people write and what problem solving solutions they use to correct their writting and what strategys they use to write. They gather thier information by having different writers and putting them into a different group and see how well they perform and the techniques they use to problem solve. They look at the expierence of the person and that many who are more expierenced uses problem solving strategy's. When students revise their work they look for missed spelled words, grammar, and other ways to say things to make them make more sense of what they are trying to get accrossed to the reader. Also student revision we don't really focus on other ways on correcting the papers that we write. In professional editing it is they actually use different strategy's to correct the writting.
